I offer in person and online counselling sessions for individuals, couples and teens. Each of these groups require their own process and approach, however the emphasis of the work we do together is always on facilitating self-healing and personal growth. More often than not, it is through healing the past that we free ourselves of unhealthy patterns and limiting self-beliefs that have become part of our narrative.

As your holistic counsellor my role is to help guide you towards a more positive and empowered way of living and being, so that you can feel and be your best. My practice is integrated and inclusive as I strive to support the health and wellbeing of women, men and young adults of diverse genders and backgrounds, including the LGBTIQA communities and their allies. Is Holistic Counselling right for me?

Holistic Counselling is a safe, supportive form of therapy designed to assist you through changing times and help you find clarity from within. This is not for everyone, but for someone who is ready for positive change and deep self-work, this can be life-changing. I am new to therapy, what can I expect?

Holistic therapy is gentle yet powerful. Many techniques and tools can be used within the holistic counselling process, but the emphasis is always on facilitating self-healing and personal growth. Our sessions are a safe, supportive space for you to share your thoughts and feelings, self-reflect and heal. My coaching style is known to be caring, personable and respectful, with a whole lot of emotional honesty and a good dose of humour.

How will Holistic Counselling help me?

Whether you’re going through a major life crisis, career disruption, relationship breakdown or feeling numb, lost and dispirited, holistic therapy can provide you with the support to identify and find solutions to deep-rooted issues. In our sessions you are guided to recalibrate and understand life from a different perspective, and are supported to make the changes you need in order to restore wellness and balance in your life.

Can I do sessions in person and remotely?

I offer in person sessions at two locations (Private Practice in Collingwood and Clinic Practice in Abbotsford), as well as online sessions via platforms such as Zoom and GoogleMeet. Most my clients choose a combination of face-to-face and online sessions, and those living remotely are finding online sessions to be just as effective.

How does couple counselling work?

The process for couple counselling starts with a minimum of 2 individual sessions for both people before we begin our couple’s work. These sessions enable each of you to have your story heard, and for me to understand your personal struggles and hopes and wants. This process also allows both parties involved to begin couple counselling feeling engaged, understood and connected from an individual level.

How many sessions will I need?

Your counselling process starts with a 20 minutes free phone consult; the journey from thereon is an individual one and varies according to where you are at and where you aspire to be. For new clients I generally recommend an initial commitment of 6 to 8 sessions to fully benefit from the work we do together.
